If watching large men tackle each other isn’t your idea of a rocking Sunday, the Seattle Times says you might want to tune into Animal Planet this weekend. Starting around 3 p.m. 63 puppies will vie for glory in the channel’s 9th annual Puppy Bowl. The event has become something of a cash cow for the channel, which says it attracted 8.7 unique viewers last year. And this year’s cheerleaders? Hedgehogs.
