They’re small, furry and easy to slip into your pocket. The Orlando Sentinel reports that thieves are increasingly stealing expensive puppies because they are “easy to carry and sell for as much as a nice Louis Vuitton tote.” The American Kennel Club reports that puppy-napping is up 30 percent this year.
