Obama Aides Launched Twitter Sting to Nab Renegade Tweeter

The Washington Post has details of the sting operation that may have helped unmask the man behind @natsecwonk. Obama administration staffers planted inaccurate, but harmless information with the National Security Council staffer suspected of being the one who was sending out offensive tweets. Then they would wait to see if he would tweet that information. The Post says it’s unclear if that helped catch Jofi Joseph, but it shows how much of an embarrassment his Twitter feed had become.
