Call it “Operation Argo.” The New York Daily News has all the details on the secret effort to have Michelle Obama appear at the Oscars on Sunday night. The original idea was Harvey Weinstein’s and only the producer and a select few knew about the First Lady’s appearance, even moments before she appeared. Says Oscar producer Craig Zadan: “The planning of it was like ‘Argo’ — it was a CIA mission, it was so complicated.”
