1. WATCH: Acoustic Gangnam

    Don’t get me wrong—I think the whole Psy thing has been a lot of fun. But while an off-the-cuff horsey dance would’ve made me smile six months ago, today it would most likely garner a (well-meaning) eye roll.  Which is why I thought I would find this acoustic version of “Gangnam Style” annoying rather than endearing. But I was pleasantly surprised.

  2. Race to the Top of the Empire State Building

    Last night, I conquered a landmark. My main goal during yesterday’s media “race” at the annual Empire State Buidling Run-Up was to simply to finish with a respectable time. And I think I accomplished that by making it to the top in just under 22 minutes.
