Don’t get me wrong—I think the whole Psy thing has been a lot of fun. But while an off-the-cuff horsey dance would’ve made me smile six months ago, today it would most likely garner a (well-meaning) eye roll.  Which is why I thought I would find this acoustic version of “Gangnam Style” annoying rather than endearing. But I was pleasantly surprised.

Last night, I conquered a landmark. My main goal during yesterday’s media “race” at the annual Empire State Buidling Run-Up was to simply to finish with a respectable time. And I think I accomplished that by making it to the top in just under 22 minutes.

SNL took our Starbucks Alter Egos to a new level in a very funny skit last weekend. Check out the Verismo, an at-home coffee machine that replicates, down to the customer service, a trip to Starbucks.

I can’t tell whether I should be flattered to be the favorite news anchor of a man who makes fun of news anchors for a living. But I can’t help it. Mather Zickel said some very nice things about me while making the rounds to promote his new show, “Newsreaders.”
