Yahoo Ends Work-From-Home Policy


Things have changed since Marissa Mayer took over at Yahoo. Now there’s free food and new smartphones, but there is no more working from home. Mayer, who took a cue from her old employer Google, canceled the company’s work-from-home program citing studies that say telecommuters are more productive but less innovative. The New York Times says the change has caused advocates of workplace flexibility to cry foul claiming it’s a “retrograde approach.”
