VIDEO: 3-D Printing Provides Economic Boost


There’s a cool New York Daily News story this morning about 3-D printing and how it could be a big economic boost. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg used a pair of scissors printed from a 3-D printer to cut the ribbon at a new factory in Long Island city. (To make the scissors, a design is created, then the image and its specs are sent to the printer, which fabricates the design using nylon.)
