Texting Behind the Wheel: Study Says Adults Worse Than Teens

Don’t blame the kids. USA Today says when it comes to texting behind the wheel, adults are the biggest offenders. Almost half of those asked by USA Today if they were guilty of texting while driving admitted it, compared to about 43 percent of teens. What’s worse? Ninety-eight percent of adults say they knew their behavior was dangerous—but they did it anyways. The situation gets scarier when you realizer there are only 10 million teen drivers, compared to about 180 million adults.
