The Texas Rangers are mourning a fan who died yesterday after falling about 20 feet from the left-field stands. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram says the man, who was accompanied by his young son, was reaching for a foul ball thrown to him by Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton when he lost his balance and fell. A man sitting nearby made a grab for him but was too late. The tragic accident come a year after another fan fell from the Rangers’ stands, fracturing his skull and ankle.
