Sochi Snow Worries

We’re a year out from the Winter Olympics in Sochi and already there are snow worries. In the mountains surrounding the Russian city there was just a deluge—of rain, not snow. “Maybe these are the Olympics where they’ll run the halfpipe holding umbrellas,” says the Washington Post. The Russians are more confident—one of the official slogans for the 2014 Games? “Sochi 2014: Guaranteed Snow.”
