Scientists Make Brain Transparent

Scientists at Standford have come up with a way to make the human brain transparent, says the LA Times. Described as “transformative” and “cool” in the journal Nature, the technology lets researchers take 3-D tours of the brain and see areas that were hidden before. Experts say the innovation could lead to rapid changes in the way brain diseases like autism and Alzheimer’s are treated.
