Kid Cuffed for Stolen Lunch Money

A family says the NYPD was out of line when officers handcuffed a seven-year-old boy over $5 in stolen lunch money. Instead of sending the student to the principal’s office, cops interrogated him for 10 hours, says the New York Post. His mother snapped a quick photo of her shackled son when she arrived to pick him up. The Post also notes that another boy later admitted to stealing the lunch money.
