There was no do-not-try-this-at-home warning, so Robert McKissic Jr. went ahead and tried it at home. The ‘it’ was making a homemade still, which he was inspired to do after watching a History Channel documentary on bootleggers. Florida cops also contend that McKissic was making moonshine, a claim he refutes…even after authorities found “several gallons of some kind of home brew in his attic.”  McKissic’s defense? He’s no hillbilly.
