“Jackass” Star Dies in Fiery Car Crash

There’s a sad case of life imitating art on the front page of the Philadelphia Daily News this morning. “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn died last night, in a fiery one-car crash, allegedly after a night of drinking. He was 34. Police say Dunn’s 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was already engulfed in flames when they arrived on the scene but they suspect he veered off the highway,“barreled over a guardrail and into a wooded area.” Alcohol is also suspected in the accident. Apparently, Dunn posted a photo on his Twitter account just hours before his death, with a beer in hand. Police were able to identify the reality star by his “facial hair and tattoos.” 

There’s been some controversy surrounding how much Dunn had to drink before his death. TMZ reported that he was “wasted,” and printed the photo Dunn posted to his Twitter page as evidence. Patrons at the bar where Dunn was drinking however say he was “not too drunk to drive.”
