‘House of Cards’ Redefines Spolier Alert

The New York Times says the buzz surrounding the new Netflix series “House of Cards” is redefining the “spoiler alert.” As in: how do you know what you can and can’t say when everybody is at a different stage in viewing the episodes. And the Times says it’s unclear how many people have actually watched “House of Cards” because Netflix refuses to say and Nielsen isn’t tracking it.
