Dead-End: Car Thief Ends Up in Cemetery

The Chicago Tribune says an Illinois man’s decision to steal a car ended with an ironically cautionary tale. After a cop spotted the stolen vehicle on the road, the car thief gunned it down a dead-end, hit the curb and landed between several headstones at a local cemetery. Workers estimate the car traveled 130 feets, most of it through the air, before landing. Luckily, any potential victims were tucked six feet under ground.
