Dallas Coated in Ice Ahead of Super Bowl


Not even Texas is immune to Mother Nature’s whims. Super Bowl visitors from Pittsburgh and Wisconsin felt right at home after the Dallas-Fort Worth area was coated in ice yesterday, says the Morning News, creating a mess at local airports and stopping the local transit system in its tracks for the first time ever. Authorities say the roads leading to Cowboy Stadium are a mess; hundreds of accidents were reported yesterday. Organizers for the big game are hoping meteorologists are right and that this weekend will bring with it 50-degree temperatures.
