“The 50 Most Beautiful Women in Film.” That’s a hard headline not to click on. I didn’t even try to resist when I saw it on the LA Times homepage. And I’ve got to say, the resulting list is interesting. There are the women you might expect, like Grace Kelly, and some you might not, like Blake Lively. And then there are some names, like Louise Brooks, that I’d never heard before. After making it through the Times’ selections, I felt inspired to create my whole list.

What does a cat say? Meow. What does Richard Nixon say? I’m not a crook. Chances are, you’re not smarter than this two-year-old. A reader tipped me off about this awesome video, highlighting Charlotte the toddler and her impressive grasp of presidential trivia. Not only can Charlotte identify presidents by picture and name them, she can rattle off their most iconic catchphrases too.

It’s Super Granny! You’d think a midday jewelry heist on a busy street would attract some attention. Not so. Check out this amazing video I just stumbled across. It shows cars whizzing by as a group of robbers, armed with sledgehammers, smashes the windows of a jewelry store and fills their bags with loot. And they would’ve gotten away with it if it weren’t for a brave purse-wielding grandmother.
