Yankees Not the Most-Hated Team in Baseball

Turns out, the Yankees are NOT the most despised team in baseball, no matter what President Obama hinted at this week. The Wall Street Journal dug up a great statistic from Nielsen Co.  It’s an analysis of online commentary designed to judge how people feel about things. And according to the algorithm, the Yankees are only the fifth-most despised team in the major league. Any Boston fans out there will be happy to know the Red Sox beat the Yankees at their own game, coming in second on the most-hated list. Surprisingly, the Cleveland Indians claimed the top spot.
