Women, according to the Star Tribune, are the new pickup artists. “Armed with confidence and motivated by frustration,” more women are making the first move says the paper. Part of it has to do with the growing economic and social parity between the sexes—but sometimes it’s more simple than that: “many men, some women say, simply aren’t good at approaching women.” It’s sea change most men fully support: “If a guy comes up to a girl, it’s still 50-50 how he’ll come off, maybe he’ll come off like a creep. But [when a woman approaches], guys, for whatever reason, will have less flags that come up.”
