Weiner Admits to Half-Dozen Sext Relationships

How fitting. In an age where the smartphone reigns supreme, we have a politician with a sext scandal, not just merely a sex one. After protesting his innocence for a week, Rep. Anthony Weiner has come forward and admitted that crotch shot was a self portrait sent, not by a hacker but by himself, says the New York Post.  While he was coming clean, Weiner also admitted he has “exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women over the past three years.” In regards to the Twitter picture that started it all, Weiner admitted that he had meant to send a private “direct message” on Twitter, something I had suspected. By the way, still not a good idea, Anthony—a Twitter photo still has to be hosted somewhere and that could have been publicly visible.

Andrea Peyser of the New York Post is betting Weiner’s wife is going to be “so out of here.” Huma Abedin, who is one of Hillary Clinton’s top aides, was noticeably absent when Weiner made his sexting confessions yesterday; when asked by a reporter if the married-for-one-year-couple was splitting up, Weiner replied, “I love my wife very much.”

And according to the New York Daily News, Weiner’s behavior suggests he was looking to self-sabotage while seeking a rush. Mental health experts say Weiner is an example of a new paradigm: powerful people who don’t feel powerful in their personal relationships, so they act out.

One of Weiner’s sexting buddies came forward and talked to Radar Online about her steaming online relationship with the congressman. The 40-year-old blackjack dealer from Vegas even shared an excerpt from Weiner’s sext-log. Let’s just say that he characterizes how excited he is and she says that her body is responding. And this was happening a month after his wedding.
