“We” Means Chores in Couple-Speak

Boston Globe columnist Beth Teitell writes a funny piece this morning about when couples use the pronoun “we.” She says in most cases it does not denote love or affection but rather refers to a chore. According to Teitell, it is far less common to hear ?we?re renewing our vows?? than it is to hear ?we should take out the trash.??
