VIDEO: $20 Cardboard Bike


An Israeli man has created a cardboard bike that can be made for as little as $20, reports the LA Times this morning. Despite its materials, the bike is apparently durable—as well as fire- and water-proof. Inventor Izhar Gafni says the trick was to bend the cardboard in a way that made it as strong as wood. The tires are the only part of the bike not made from cardboard—instead, they are fabricated from old car tires. See VIDEO below
