Veggies Reduce Women’s Stroke Risk


Once again, your mother was right. Not only are veggies good for you, a new study has found that a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can lower the risk of stroke in women by 17 percent. Doctors say the study is one more indication that “the best antidote to heart disease is in the fridge — not the medicine cabinet.”
