Toyota Stumped by Recall Problem
Wednesday, 27 January 2010 | by Pat's Picks

The people at Toyota are stumped. The Detroit Free Press reports the automaker has taken the unusual step of stopping production on troubled models until it figures out a fix for the accelerator pedals that get stuck sometimes. Until a new design is in place, the company will stop production and sales on eight models.
Freep columnist Tom Walsh says this shows that the much-looked-up-to Toyota is also fallible.
The models affected are:
- Camry
- Corolla
- RAV4
- Matrix
- Avalon
- Highlander
- Tundra
- Sequoia
