Toyota Slow to Recall

There’s an interesting piece in the LA Times this morning about Toyota. The paper discovered a pattern of delayed recalls and a tendency to blame human error after launching an investigation of the automaker. The Times says there have been 19 fatalities since 2001 because of a faulty part that Toyota failed to recall promptly.
