There’s a great photo on the front page of the LA Times this morning. That’s the only stop sign in Darwin, California, a remote town of about three dozen in the desert mountains. The town doesn’t have businesses, restaurants or broadband Internet. The Times says Darwin’s Internet speeds are slower by half than those in Algiers, Algeria, which has the slowest rates in the world.
