What do you do when life hands you lemons? Race them, says the San Francisco Chronicle, in a cool profile about an under-the-radar sporting event: the LeMons Racing Circuit. To qualify, racers must convince a panel of judges that they didn’t pay more than $500 for their cars. To win, a car must make a certain number of laps in the allotted time, which can range from “14 hours to 24.”
