Teaching Some Subway Etiquette

Rule one: don’t wrap your butt around a subway pole. There’s a picture in today’s New York Daily News that is both is priceless and frightening. It’s accompanying a story about one man’s poster campaign to bring etiquette to New York’s subway system.

Subway etiquette is a popular topic in the city. New York Magazine took on the issue, complete with rankings for specific disgusting subway behaviors, in its Urban Etiquette Guide.
