Target Adds Same-Sex Greeting Cards

Target has begun stocking greeting cards for same-sex couples, under the “For two special men” and “For two special women” sections in its stores. The Minneapolis Star Tribune notes the addition, which company reps say reflects the brand’s emphasis on “diversity and inclusivity,” comes just two years after weathering a PR storm for donating $150,000 to a Republican gubernatorial candidate who opposed gay marriage.
