South Carolina Man Mows Lawn at Lincoln Memorial

With National Park Service workers furloughed because of the government shutdown, Chris Cox decided he would take care of mowing the lawn outside the Lincoln Memorial. He says he just wanted it to look nice for this weekend’s Million Vet March. The New York Post says despite his gesture, police eventually told him to leave.
