Serious Progress at World Trade Center Site

President Obama is scheduled to visit the World Trade Center site today. And when he does, things will look a lot different. The New York Daily News has great before and after photos of the progress. Not much had been accomplished when Obama visited back in 2008; today, “it is no longer The Pit.”

While, we’re on the subject, I’ve always refused to call the World Trade Center site ‘Ground Zero’ because I think it’s inappropriate to develop catchy nicknames for the scene of a tragedy. This morning, the New York Post‘s real estate columnist Steve Cuozzo says he, for other reasons, believes it’s time to stop calling the property “Ground Zero.”
