Seacrest’s Coolness Gets Him $60-Million Contract


I like to describe my role at Pat’s Papers as a curator of news. Apparently I should’ve been more focused on becoming a curator of cool. The New York Times says because Ryan Seacrest is a curator of pop culture coolness, Clear Channel is willing to pay him $60 million over the next three years to keep doing his morning radio show. In addition, Seacrest has signed on to help create radio programming for the Internet.
