Scientists Warn of Global Warming “Tipping Point”

An ominous warning on the front page of the San Francisco Chronicle this morning. An international group of scientists has authored a strongly worded analysis in the journal Nature, explaining that we are nearing global warming’s “tipping point.” They say without a concerted, worldwide effort, we will see a series of “increasingly rapid and irreversible destruction” to the environment in the coming years.
