Scared of Spiders? Try Holding One


Scared of spiders? Well, the Chicago Tribune says there’s a quick therapy that could help. Researchers at Northwestern University say “exposure therapy”—spending as little as two hours near a spider—can eradicate arachnophobia. Unfortunately, the therapy also involves touching spiders. The study found that the brain actually reorganizes itself after exposure therapy to mitigate fear in the future.
