Roger Ebert says a movie critic can’t escape the requests to do a “Top Ten” list. But that doesn’t mean he has to like it. He writes a guest column for the Wall Street Journal. He’s tried many techniques to convince readers he’s not interested in lists, like the year he listed the Top Ten in alphabetical order.
