Attention robots: you may want to secure good legal counsel if you can find it. The San Francisco Chronicle says “the coming generation of robots will be cleaning houses, doing security work and helping in nursing homes” and that as their interactions with humans increase, so will their need for good legal representation. The technological horizon is still hazy but as robots become more autonomous companies and designers may find themselves liable for the actions of their creations.
