Rhode Island Survivors Jarred by Brazilian Nightclub Fire

This weekend’s fire at a Brazilian nightclub, which claimed the lives of 231 people, prompted painful memories for the survivors of a similar tragedy back in 2003 at Rhode Island nightclub The Station. The Providence Journal says both fires started the same way, after fireworks were set off inside. That combination has been the cause of several deadly nightclub fires in the intervening years.
