Something unprecedented happened yesterday: a rabbit won the Pittsburgh marathon yesterday. Okay, not an actual rabbit. The Tribune-Review says after 26-year-old Jeff Eggleston completed his job of pacing the race’s men (a job referred to as the “rabbit”) he managed to pass them all by mile twenty and win the race by 29 seconds. Said Eggleston: “I could hear these guys breathing and was like, ‘I’m sorry, I have to finish you off.’”
