Primaries “Tough Night” for Incumbents

It’s not a good year to be an incumbent. USA Today says Arkansas Sen. Blanche Lincoln’s win was the exception to the rule in yesterday’s primary races. In California there were two big upsets for GOP women: former eBay CEO Meg Whitman winning a chance to run for the state’s governorship and former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina winning a place in November’s senate race.
