‘Play Money” Lets Investors Test Skills

The Wall Street Journal says three-fourths of investors who use a financial planner have a private account on the side that they manage themselves to experiment with their own investment ideas. And usually these accounts are kept secret from their planner. The Journal says about 18 perent of clients have them.
