It’s not really news to anyone who spends time online that MySpace isn’t hot anymore. But it’s still an interesting read in the New York Times this morning, as reporter Tim Arango documents the decline. The shift demonstrates the “fragility of social media,” he writes. Many young people who had their “social media baptism” on MySpace have moved on.
