No Babies on Board: Airline Bans Babies in First Class

Malaysia Air has gone somewhere no airline has dared to go before says the Daily Mail this morning—it’s offering up child-free flights. The company’s “baby ban” only applies to its first class cabin and has already been implemented on the airline’s fleet of 747s. Those traveling with babies will have to book a coach or business class ticket. Malaysia Air president says he made the decision after receiving several complaints from “well-to-do” passengers about their sleep being interrupted. Or, as he put it on Twitter: “Many complaints from 1st class pax dat dey spend money on 1st class & can’t sleep due to crying infants.”
