In most industries, a midday nap is frowned upon. Not in the NBA. The New York Times says napping is so common on game day that it’s widely known throughout the league that you don’t call a player at 3 pm. NFL players are less likely to nap, mainly because they typically only play once a week. Hockey players, however, love to nap as much as they like to crash into each other.
Speaking of sleeping, there was an interesting article in the Bergen County Register this morning about the impact technology is having on the sleeping patterns of Americans. More than one third of respondees to a recent survey say their sleep has been curtailed by late-night texting or computer use.
