Getting your driver’s license is a right-of-passage. But today’s teens aren’t rushing to hit the road. The Kansas City Star cites a recent study that finds almost half of all teens are waiting until they turn 18 to get their license. 20 years ago, two-thirds of teens had a license by the time they were 18. Many teens say gas prices make it too costly to drive.
