Miss Alaska Has Crown, No Hair on Head

Three months ago Debbe Ebben didn’t have any hair on her head. Now, says the Anchorage Daily News, she has a crown. The newly minted Miss Alaska shaved her head in support of childhood cancer research. It’s grown back a little since then, but Ebben says she’ll likely keep it short when she represents her state in the Miss America pageant next January.
