Mink Dives into ‘Fish Heaven’

Some things are worth swimming for, even in a fur coat. Maine’s Bangor Daily News says an intrepid mink managed to get loose at a local pet store and make his way into a fish tank housing live bait. The store’s owner snapped the above photo after catching the “sopping-wet mink enjoying a smorgasbord.”

The owner says there was also evidence that the mink planned ahead: “We have like a filter on top of the fish tank, and he had climbed in, killed some fish and had stockpiled them on top of the filter—he was stockpiling them like cordwood.”
