Man Fired for Wearing Packers Tie to Work


The Packers won their invitation to this year’s Super Bowl fair and square, after beating the Bears 21-14 on Sunday night. But that didn’t stop owners of a suburban Chicago car dealership from firing an employee because he wore a Packers’ tie to work says the Chicago Tribune. The employee says he wore the tie in honor of his late grandmother, a life-long Packers fan who was buried two days before the team’s NFC win. The now ex-employee says he thought his boss was joking when he told him to remove the tie.
