Longtime Disney Songwriter Dies at 86

The New York Times has an obituary for Robert B. Sherman in today’s paper. You may not recognize his name, but you undoubtedly know his work. Sherman and his brother were longtime songwriters for Disney, and are responsible for classics like “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.” The Times says although the brothers shared credit, Robert was known as the “words guy,” while his brother focused on the music.
