LED Bulbs That Work Like The 60-Watt Standard

According to the New York Times, you’ll be able to buy affordable, LED bulbs for your home in about a month. Two of the country’s biggest manufacturers, Phillips and Sylvania, are rolling out designs to compete with America’s favorite, the 60-watt bulb. The new bulbs use just 12 watts of power to generate the same amount of light. And unlike earlier models, they look more like, well, light bulbs.  General Electric, the other major manufacturer, will introduce a 40-watt equivalent this year.
